What do I call my instructor?

You can call your instructor Shihan.



What should I wear when I try my first class?

If you do not have a uniform, wear athletic/sport clothing to the dojo.



I have a black belt in a different style. Can I join the dojo with a black belt?

Yes, but if you would like to earn a black belt in the Shotokan style, you will have to speak with Shihan Marius Gilca and he will give you a plan of how to go at a faster pace toward a black belt with our style.



Do I get a free uniform if I sign up?

Yes, you will get a free uniform if you sign up for 1 full month of karate.



Do you charge annual fees?

We do not charge annual fees



Do I need to sign a contract?

No, we do not have contracts.



What age do I have to be to start?

Anyone can start if you're age 4 and older.



What does dojo mean/what is a dojo?

A special room in which martial arts is practiced.
